Elite Speed and Agility Training Program

Elite Performance Academy is pleased to announce a winter Speed and Agility Program unlike any other in Ottawa.

We are running this program in collaboration with the Kanata Knights, who will be helping with administration and organization. However, this Program is open to everyone...athletes of all ages, and from any football clubs in the city, are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The benefits of the training are numerous, but the most important benefit is that we are training football-specific speed and agility skills. Running fast straight ahead is obviously important, but perhaps even more important is the ability to stop quickly, change direction, and start again. And to do all of that with power and explosiveness.

To achieve these goals, the training will include:

1. Linear speed work
2. Stopping, starting, deceleration
3. Acceleration
4. Movement skills in variety of planes
5. For advanced athletes, resisted and assisted movement patterns
6. Agility and footwork drills

The program will run over 27 sessions, and take place at the Kanata ThunderDome. The cost of the dome time is $10.00 per player and the cost of the training is approximately $20.00 per player depending on numbers. We are asking that if you wish to attend all 27 sessions, then the cost to you is $400.00 in total. I guarantee that you and your athlete will not get a better deal than that anywhere else in the city. See below for other payment options. Sessions will run on Thursday evenings and Saturday Afternoons.

Saturdays: 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm (2 days from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm) Kanata Soccer Dome on Richardson Side Road

January 9, 16, 23, 30;
February 6, 13, 20, 27 (11:30 am - 12:30 pm);
March 6 (11:30 am - 12:30 pm), 13, 20.

Payment Options:
All Sessions $400.00 1/2 due at first session
Thursdays Only $250.00 1/2 due at first session
Saturdays only $200.00 1/2 due at first session
Drop-in fee $30.00 per session
All cheques made payable to The Kanata Knights Football Club
